India’s Wheels India company plans to start exporting forged aluminum wheels to the United States from September, according to reports. The company has built a new aluminum wheel casting factory to meet the demand in the US market.

SRam, the chairman of the company, stated, “The complete lockdown for 45 days earlier this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic had a significant impact on our business. In June, our capacity utilization was around 42%, and we expect an improvement in business in the third and fourth quarters compared to the current level.”

The company will begin exporting products to the United States from its new aluminum wheel casting factory in September. The demand for forged aluminum wheels from this factory in the international market is expected to grow in the coming year. The market demand is projected to shift towards small cars and multipurpose vehicles next year.
